I started this one using bright red, orange and yellow. I was channeling summer and then when I took a step back to look at the first layer and it had reminded me emotionally of our 'Tea Ceremony' Day the day before our wedding day. My mum had gotten a custom made beautiful red 'Ao Dai' made for me. Mum wore a yellow one, all my aunties had bright beautiful mixed coloured ones and my grandma wore a deep purple one. When I think of family events I miss my grandma so much to my core. The end painting turned into a beautiful garden, hence I decided to call this 'Tea Garden'. I like to think my grandma is sipping tea somewhere in her own peaceful garden.
